Tip 1: Exfoliate

You might not think about it but your lips need a little regular exfoliation just like your skin. Use a gentle lip scrub or wash cloth once every few weeks to get rid of dead skin and keep things smooth and ready for that all-important moisture. Speaking of which...

Tip 2: Get The Bomb Lip Balm

Not all lip balms are created equal. Skip the synthetic stuff and go natural to heal and hydrate the right way. Look for soothing moisturizers and and a vitamin boost to ensure your lips are well taken care of. Whether you're facing a brutal winter, hot sun, or just want smooth lips year-round, the right, well-chosen product can be a game changer.

Tip 3: Stay Hydrated

Keeping hydrated, no matter the weather, is one of the easiest ways to prevent dry, dull skin, especially on your face and lips. Lips dry out quickly if you’re dehydrated, so, drink up! It’s one of the simplest ways to keep your lips soft and smooth.

Tip 4: Don’t Lick Your Lips

Tough one, we know. While it may feel natural to lick your lips when they’re dry, it's doing more harm than good. Saliva dries out the skin, making things worse. Instead, keep your trusty lip balm close and apply as needed.

Tip 5: Protect Yerself

Sunscreen is important everywhere, and your lips are no exception. If you’re going to be out in the sun, even in the colder months, apply some sunscreen under or over your lip balm (at least SPF 20, please and thank you) to keep your lips protected from the harmful UV rays.
